FigLine

The FigLine bodhrán line is the result of many years of close collaboration and friendship with Nicolle Fig.
Nicolle played the CoreLine Universal for many years. Later in her career, I had the honour of making a very special custom bodhrán for her, a 35cm DRAGONSkin spicy HighEndLine bodhrán with an elaborate polar theme inlay work. 
Nicolle 'Fig' has made a name for herself over the last few years both as a bodhrán player and as a bodhrán teacher alike. I owe many of my customers to her recommendations. 
As we have similar views on sustainability, value and quality, it was a natural progression to create a product together. 

A product that would not only meet our requirements and expectations, but would also be adaptable to individual customer needs.
After years of development, numerous prototypes and much thought, the result is more than just a product, it is a coherent product line! 
The FigLine includes a bodhrán available in two basic versions (natural skin and vegan synthetic skin) and in 3 diameters and 3 frame depths, as well as a tipper series by Stevie Moises and a handmade tipper bag by Hilo Mandarina.

The FigLine bodhrán is made entirely of figured ash and is finished with brown stained elements depending on the model:

The natural skin version has a dark decorative stripe on the outside and is stained brown on the inside, while the outer frame and tuning frame are oiled and waxed in a natural colour.

It comes with a DRAGONSkin spicy drumhead and a tuning frame covered in chamois leather.

The vegan synthetic skin version has the colours reversed so that the outer frame is dark with a light decorative stripe.

It comes with REMO Skyntone® head and tuning rim with cotton covered bearing edge.

The Fig logo is on the inside of each drum in a contrasting colour.

The FigLine is available in diameters of 35, 37 and 40 cm and frame depths of 13, 14 and 15 cm.

The tool-less tuning system is equipped with isolatHED tuning technology.

As each FigLine is made to order, there is a waiting period. Depending on the order situation, this can take from a few weeks to a few months.
